FAQ
Can I use plastic or stainless steel containers?
We advise using only glass or porcelain containers. Alkaline energy water may extract substances from certain materials, and most types of plastic may contain unwanted chemicals. Stainless steel may absorb energy, which can limit the energy available in the water treated with the beads.
Can I use hot water?
No. Please use only water at room temperature.
How long should I soak the beads in water?
Soak the beads in water for at least 10 minutes for the water to turn alkaline. You may also leave the beads in the water overnight. The bottle will not become slimy even if the beads are soaked overnight.
What is the shelf life of the beads?The beads are effective for at least 2 years. After 2 years, you can use a pH tester to check the pH level of your water.
- Add 2 drops of reagent into 20ml of distilled water and mix well. The solution will turn yellow.
- Put about 10 beads into the solution and soak for about 10 minutes.
- If the colour turns blue or dark green, the beads are still effective.
- Repeat these steps regularly, especially after 2 years of usage, to monitor the effectiveness of the beads.
